This is Phoenix! He is our new "son" according to Benson. He was very excited that the lizard looks like him, or at least has the same eye color! Benson has always wanted a pet...someone to share his room with. So, Phoenix sleeps in his room with him.
He is an adult male bearded dragon. Phoenix is four years old and is such a sweet guy! We sure love having him in the family. He enjoys being held and socializing with the family.

WOW!!! All I have heard about at my house is "Benson has a new lizard!" I had NO idea that they were talking about a huge REPTILE! I thought it was a little lizard, but Phoenix is really BIG!! That is awesome. You are a brave mom Charity! He is a nice addition to your family, I will have to meet him next time I come over!
That is awesome! Melissa always referred to our cat Megabytes as her brother. What a fun thing for your kids!

How fun to have a lizard! And that is so cute how excited all your kids are especially Benson! How fun to have another "child" and you didn't have to do any of the work (pregnancy & labor)!
