Preparedness Fair

Once a year Carbon County hosts a preparedness fair, and the kids always love to go! Here is a summary of the activities:

A picture with me and the kids! Of course, my eyes are closed!

A picture with Smokey the Bear. Cecila did not want to be involved in this! He looked scary to her!
This was a car crash simulator that was at the preparedness fair. The kids loved it!

Benson loved this! It was almost as good as a Lagoon ride!
Julia wanted three turns!
This is picture of them by the helicopter that flew in for the fair.It was so windy and cold there! Look at Julia's hair!

Princess Party!

The girls went to a "Princess Party" recently, and they had so much fun! Some Young Women in a ward in Price put it on. It was such a neat idea! The girls felt so special!

Julia and her friend Allee. My "Princess Julia"!This is "Princess Cecila"!

Julia's Dance Performance (She was a duck!)

She is having such a good time! It makes it worth the cost of lessons and costumes!
A week ago Julia had her third dance performance of the year! It was so cute! The girls all were dressed up as ducks! It was so entertaining to see them all strut their stuff. Julia had a blast, and here are some pictures of her:
During this picture she was supposed to be listening to "Mrs. Patti", but Mom was distracting her!
Here is a picture of Benson and Julia who supported her, and came to her performance.
Here is the whole Group!
One of her duck feet fell off in my closet, and I did not realize it till later! Ahhh! So, she was the only one without duck feet! Embarassing!

Pay it Forward!

Here is how it works-- the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a handmade gift from me sometime during this year. If you do not live close by please leave me your address. What it is and when it arrives will be a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment here, put a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going! Then come back and let me know you are going to play and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your surprise! Remember only the first 3 will qualify! Good luck!

The St. Patricks Day Parade

Julia really enjoyed the parade...especially the candy!
Here is a picture of Cecilia. I do not think that she quite knew what to think of the parade.

I loved this picture of Benson at the park!

Right before the parade we went to the park here is a picture of Benson on a tire swing with a friend.

The Great Salt Lake

I thought that this was an awesome picture of the Great Salt Lake as I was flying back into Utah!

Trip to visit Beverly and Steve

Toward the beginning of March I went on a trip with my Mother in Law to visit Beverly, Steve and their new little baby Reya. Here are a few of those pictures that I took:

Cecilia's Two Year Old Birthday!

I can't believe that my baby is two now! It has all gone by so quickly for me! I have loved every minute of my time with her, from day one she has been a mellow easy child. I am so grateful for that! She actually celebrated the day of her birthday with my parent's and siblings up in Cache Valley. I was visiting Ben's sister and her family at the time. We had a little birthday party for her before we left, and here are a few of the pictures down below:

She really liked this new princess dress.
She was wearing some of her new make up here!

She really wanted Barbie princess cupcakes!
