Pass a Mallow Please!

Two guys in my ward both turned thirty this week, and so their wives planned a joint surprise cook out! I found out toward the end of the evening that Benson had eaten twenty marshmallows!! I was seriously worried that I would be seeing them later on! He was somehow able to keep all of them down! Lucky me!! I thought this picture was funny because if you look closely, you will notice that there is a marshmallow flying past Benson's head! It was quite the shin dig!!
Julia did a great job cooking her own hot dog!

He had a great time playing Frisbee, roasting marshmallows and running around with a herd of other kids!

She was such a glorious mess by the end of the evening!!

The One That Did NOT Get Away!

Last Saturday, Ben took the kids fishing, and I stayed home to get caught up on yard and housework! It was a much needed break for all of us! Ben and the kids love fishing, and I love doing house/yard work all alone! It can be very relaxing to pull weeds in quiet.....especially when quiet can be such a hard thing to find! So, I planted peas, and Benson and Ben both caught fish.
Ben said Benson caught this one all by himself! They were both pretty proud!

Julia wanted her picture taken with Benson's fish!

Of course, Cecilia wanted to hold it too! I love the expression on her face!

Grandpa printed out a conference packet for the the kids to color during conference:
Everybody put on Grandpa's old work shirts to color Easter eggs together:

The kids and I went to the mall. They always love playing on the huge junk food items:

We went to Ben's sister's house on the Thursday of Benson's spring break and spent the afternoon hanging out. The kids had a great time. Here are some fun pictures! I told Cecilia to smile for the picture! This is what I got!!
Nate was so cute!! He would let us all hold him! Benson was so happy about it!

Home, Garden and Eggs....

Every year we go to the Trails End Easter Egg Hunt. Not only do you find eggs with candy in them, but you find eggs with tickets. Each ticket means that you have won a prize! The kids always have their picture taken with the bunny!
Another cute picture, but Julia's eyes were closed!

Cecilia won a bunny and a sand pail!

Julia was given two bunnies!

Benson was excited about his small basketball hoop thingy!
After the Easter Egg hunt we went to the Price Home and Garden show. They had a kids area with activities. Here are a few shots of the activities the kids could do:

They drew pictures for a contest about the County fair!

Cecilia loved to "color" too!

They had animals there for the kids to check out!
Benson with the baby chicks.

My kids all thought the puppies were cute, but I did not want to pay two hundred dollars to bring one home!
