Almost Over! Summer Here We Come!!!

The school year is over for Julia and Cecilia, and Benson only has a few days left. Here are some pictures showing some of the end of the year activities that the kids have participated in.
This is a picture of most of Benson's class during the field trip to the BYU museum.
Benson really enjoyed seeing the large fish!
He wanted his picture taken with this Rhino head. When he was little his favorite animal was a Rhino.
I love the expression on his face in this picture! For his last special experience moment in first grade he decided to talk to the class about fishing. He is showing the kids how to cast a fishing pole.
He is answering some questions for the class.
For Julia's Kindergarten field trip she went to the aquarium up in Salt Lake area. I was so lucky to have a friend who watched Cecilia for me so that I could go with her. It was a fun day!

The last Day of school Julia's class had a closing program. The songs were all so precious. Here are a few pictures that I took:
Julia and her class are singing a groovy song! The glasses were fun too!
Here she is singing another song at her program.
Julia with her teacher Miss Melissa. She has learned so much! I can't believe that she is already a Kindergartner!
Cecilia with all of the kids in her preschool class at their closing social.

Spring Time Fun!

Every year we go to the local Easter egg hunt that is sponsored by a realty. It is always very exciting, and my kids end up with some type of prize. We never forget to have a picture taken with this same bunny!
Julia making a craft at her class Easter party.
Benson is holding up the pinata that I made for Benson's class treasure hunt. We decided that instead of having the kids have another Easter egg hunt, that we would have them go on a treasure hunt for a pinata filled to the brim with candy!
Cecilia was excited to get her very own package from Grandma Robyn! She received these very cute clothes!
Benson was given a nice outfit too! Thanks Grandma!
One of the days during Spring break we went to the park and had a picnic with Ben.
I love it when these two are being such good buddies!
Benson is finishing up his picnic lunch. Julia's package from Grandma somehow became delayed in the mail, and so she received the next day. Here is her new set of clothes.
For the last part of our Spring break trip we went up North and visited family. On Saturday we went to my parents local park for an Easter egg hunt. It was at 9:00 AM. So we hurriedly threw on our clothes so that we could make it to the park in time. It was pretty funny, because when we made it there I realized that Julia's pants were a little floodish! She had put on Cecilia's pants by mistake. It was also very cold, and so the two little girls were huddling up with Grandma while we waited for it to start.
The girls looking at their eggs.
All three of the kids together. The result of this Easter egg hunt was very different than it ever has been! Cecilia had by far more eggs than the older two!

Later in the Day we went to the movie Rio with my family! It was very cute!
After the movie we went to one of our favorite places! Willow Park in Logan has always been an exciting place for my kids. They love to feed the ducks.....
or maybe even themselves!!! If you look closely at the picture it looks like Cecilia is about to eat a piece of duck food! I was casually teasing Cecilia about this picture and she told me that she really did not eat it....you decide.
Julia did not want to leave, but after I took a few more pictures I could convince her that it really was time to go!
Later, that same day we drove down to Ben's Dad's house and the kiddos were able to dye Easter eggs with their cousin Johnny! It was so nice of Mary to help the kids out. She boiled all of the eggs and got everything ready for the kids. She helped them figure out what they were doing too.
Cecilia made quite a few pink and purple eggs!
Julia is patiently waiting for her egg to dye.
Benson went for the "boy colors": blue, orange, etc..
It was fun to be at Ben's Dad's house for Easter, and also for Stephen's last talk before his mission. We had Ben and his brother get in a picture with all of the little boys!
Benson is wearing a Future missionary tag. It was so neat!
After the church meeting and luncheon the kids had an Easter egg hunt with their cousins.
Julia has her eye on the prize!
