Practice Gymnastics Meet

Starting in January, Julia will start going to gymnastics meets. For practice, her gym hosted a practice meet. Here are some pictures that I took:

This is a picture of Julia after it is all over:

She is kind of hard to see, but Julia is the girl doing the beam routine in the very back of the picture:

Julia and her group are about to start their floor routines. Julia is the girl second to the right:

Benson's Kindergarten Christmas Party

My friend and I are the room mother's for Benson's Kindergarten class, and I can honestly say that I do not think that I knew what I was getting myself into! It has been a lot of fun, and I know that I would love to do it again next year. I know that I will be much better prepared for it next year though. Here is Benson with his teacher at his Christmas party that my friend and I planned:

Deck the Halls!!

The kids were all really excited to decorate for Christmas. We decorated the week after Thanksgiving, but I did not have time to post the pictures. I have been so busy trying to prepare for Christmas. Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

After all of the decorating, this is the final result:

Flying Above My House!!! Can You See My House?

The other day we got to have a once in a lifetime opportunity of flying over our own house! We have a friend in the Ward who is a pilot, and he called us up and asked if we wanted a ride.
A picture of Ben and I before take off!

Ben sat in the front seat next to our friend Chris, who is the pilot.

A neat shot of the mountains and hills around Price.

I think we were almost on our side at this point!!!!! Scary!

The big building with the white roof is Walmart, and the gray roofed building is Sutherlands.

Here is another good shot of Price!
If you look at the block with the circle street on it, that is my block. Then, you look on the left hand side of the block. We are the yellow house with the grayish roof. There are four houses on our side. We are one of the middle two. Could you find it?

A picture as we are landing.

First Visit From Santa!

Every year Ben's work hosts a Christmas party. We have gone almost every year. It is their first visit with Santa of the year!

Benson is at the age where is asks so many questions! He kept quizzing me about Santa. Why can't we visit the North Pole? Why is the wrapping paper on the tables at the party the same as the presents from Santa? etc.... It think it is fun for the kids to believe in holidays, at least for a few more years, and so I still play along!!!

Julia had no hesitation in hopping up on his lap to tell him what she wanted for Christmas!

Cecilia did NOT smile on Santa's lap! She just wanted to sit there long enough to be given her present!!

Temple Square

The weekend of Thanksgiving we went to temple square to look a the lights. We were lucky enough to be able to go with Ben's Dad and sister Emily. It was the perfect night to go!

Kelly's Shower

My sister, Kelly, is going to get married next week. So, while I was up visiting for Thanksgiving my sisters and I threw a shower for her. Here are some fun pictures:

Here are a few shots taken after the shower:
A cute picture of the soon to be married couple!
Kelly and Cecilia playing after the shower was over.

Oh, What Do You Do During Thanksgiving Prep?

Oh, what do you do during Thanksgiving prep, when all the food smells good? Do you suck up leaves,
or wash dishes

or play to your hearts content?
Is that what you do? So do I!

New Hunger....?

At the beginning of this week I read two great books! They are the first two books in a series. The first one was Hunger Games, and the second was Catching Fire. I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes sci-fi. Now that I am mostly caught up on all of the books and movies that I have been wanting to read I watch, I guess I better go put some laundry away...... (Warning: If you read these two books you will be very sad that the third book is not out! It does not come out until next Fall, and so be emotionally prepared for that!)

On Friday I went to New Moon, and I thought it was a pretty good movie. The sound system here in Price was not super great though, and so I would enjoy watching it sometime when I will not have to miss words and things because the sound was so crappy!

Randomness.............

My kids were playing around together earlier today, and I just felt like taking a few pictures! I love having my three kids, it makes my life so much easier when they all play together!

Field Trip

The girls went on a preschool field trip to the dinosaur museum. We go there all of the time, and love it! The Mammoth in the picture was found in the nearby city of Huntington. It is the largest most complete specimen ever found! are a few pictures:
