Museum+Santa=Happy Smiles!

 We usually try to go to the Dinosaur Museums Christmas activity.  They always have Santa there!

"Yes, Santa!  I have been very good this year!"  All I want is something Dora for Christmas!"

"I really want some chapter books!   Pretty please!"

"I want some chapter books too! Thanks!"

It was fun seeing kids from our neighborhood there too!

Dancing/Santa

The girls second performance of the year was in the middle of January at a Christmas craft fair. 

Julia is on the back row, and Cecilia is on the second row on the far right side.

It is has been so fun watching them have fun together as sisters over this year!

They would not look at the camera....so this was as good of a picture as I could get!

After the performance the kids went to a local flower shop and had visited with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!

Family Pictures

 Just after our Thanksgiving my Mom took some pictures for me of the family for my Christmas cards that I made.  I really loved her pictures.  Here is sampling of some of my favorites:

Thanksgiving?

This year for Thanksgiving we spent our Thanksgiving break helping my parents do some renovations on their house. We helped paint their living room, stairways, kitchen, washroom and one of the bathrooms. We helps rip out some carpet. Then they had new carpet installed. They wanted to have all of the work done before my sister Kim came home from her mission. It was going to be a big surprise! We decided we did not have time to make a big dinner, and so we ate dinner at Chuck-a-Rama. We had a great time helping my parents with the major project!

First of Many

One the 19th of November the girls had their first cheer performance at a craft show in Helper. It has been fun over the year to see them get better with each performance!

YOU ARE MY PUNKIN

This Fall I canned some pumpkin for the first time. I have used it to make pumpkin muffins, pancakes, french toast, and cake. It has been a fun new thing to have on hand. I took a few cute pictures of the kids with the seeds. We toasted the seeds after they were cleaned and had some yummy pumpkin seeds.

Halloween!

I am finally posting Halloween pictures! The first thing we did after school was to go trick or treating to the local businesses. Then, we went to a friends Halloween party. The last event of the day was to go trick or treating around our neighborhood! The kids had a great time!
