Page!

For Presidents Day weekend we were lucky enough to be able to drive down to Page Arizona and visit my sister Kelly and her husband Lucas. We all had a wonderful time and were able to see a lot of things in the Page area!
In this picture they are waiting for their Aunt Kelly to read to them in her 3rd grade classroom.
They enjoyed having their aunt read to them.
The kids loved seeing Kelly's classroom!
The bridge of the the Glen Canyon Dam. Kelly's husband Lucas works at the Dam.
Look at a diorama together.
The diorama that they were looking at that shows the set up of the Glen Canyon Dam.

They are such good friends!
They were literally attached at the hip during our visit! Cecilia and Kelly were sharing a jacket!
What a great smile Benson!
It looks at if she is contemplating the mysteries of life!
Julia, Kelly and CC we are at a scenic outlook near the Glen Canyon Dam.
My sister Kelly the kids and I. Kelly's husband had been working some grave shifts and so he was home sleeping.
Our Fam
Ben and Benson checking out the Horseshoe Bend. I made Ben hold Benson's hand!! Just a few feet in front of them is a steep cliff....
Kelly and CC. They were quite the buddies.
This is called the Horseshoe bend. It is so beautiful. If I had been braver I would have captured the whole scene.
I thought this was a neat picture. I liked the way that each person is progressively more and more blurred.
Julia found these shells on the beach.
I told her to say cheese, and she decided to pose with a cup of sand!
My sister Kelly with her new dog! This dog really is a woman's best friend!

Love and Such

I am so grateful for the love in my life. I love my family. This post is dedicated to my family and some of our Valentines Day experiences.

On a side note speaking about love we are very excited that Ben's Dad recently remarried. I took a lot of awesome pictures from out trip up north for that, and was so disappointed that I somehow deleted them all! I thought I was going to cry! It was such a nice weekend with his family. His sister from Missouri was even able to come with her daughter! I may be able to get a few pictures from other family members...
I included this in my love post because I sure love my kiddos and I thought the picture of Benson was so funny!
This is the man I love! I love the fact that we both love different things! We teach each other about life and how to live. In this picture he is preparing a fish for dinner. The kids are so excited to watch him.
Treats, crafts, and a movie from Grandpa and Grandma Blau!
Decorating cupcakes with his classmates.
Benson's played the game at their party where you tried to not have your balloon pop. He was the second to last kid!
Julia at her class Valentines Day party.
A cute picture with a friend from class.
Getting ready to play a game!
An action shot! Playing in a relay!
I really liked Julia's Valentines box that she entered into the competition. She thought she was going to win, but at least the gave her a nice consolation prize! :)
This is the award Benson won for the Valentines box he made for the Castle Heights school competitions. Along with the certificate he received a five dollar Cold Stone Gift Certificate! Needless to say...it was a was a pre
This is the prize winning Valentines box that we made together! It is a tie dye t-shirt!
This is my little sweetheart! She was a such a great helper at the school that day!

I thought I would throw these few pictures in with the other love pictures because he really seemed to love his basketball classes:
Stretching out with the rest of the kids!
Benson listening to his instructor about what to do next.

All about C

So, this post is dedicated to my youngest...CC, C or Cecilia....you never know which name she will choose to go by! There are some pictures of her from tumbling and from a school field trip:
Cecilia waving to Julia and me! What a cutie!
Waiting in the circle with her friends.
She just finished doing a roll!

Here are a few pictures I took when Cecilia had a preschool field trip to the Dinosaur Museum:
Here she is looking at the delightful skull of a Mountain Goat or Sheep...or something!
Cecilia really enjoyed spending the afternoon at the museum with her preschool friends!

Our New Addition

This is Phoenix! He is our new "son" according to Benson. He was very excited that the lizard looks like him, or at least has the same eye color! Benson has always wanted a pet...someone to share his room with. So, Phoenix sleeps in his room with him.
He is an adult male bearded dragon. Phoenix is four years old and is such a sweet guy! We sure love having him in the family. He enjoys being held and socializing with the family.
The dressed him up in doll clothes one day.....and yes he is a he!
What great grins!
My "four kids" together.
Julia showing off our lizard Phoenix to her Kindergarten class.
The girls sure love their new "brother".
He is answering questions about the Phoenix from his class.
Benson is explaining what everything is for.
