New Hunger....?

At the beginning of this week I read two great books! They are the first two books in a series. The first one was Hunger Games, and the second was Catching Fire. I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes sci-fi. Now that I am mostly caught up on all of the books and movies that I have been wanting to read I watch, I guess I better go put some laundry away...... (Warning: If you read these two books you will be very sad that the third book is not out! It does not come out until next Fall, and so be emotionally prepared for that!)

On Friday I went to New Moon, and I thought it was a pretty good movie. The sound system here in Price was not super great though, and so I would enjoy watching it sometime when I will not have to miss words and things because the sound was so crappy!

Randomness.............

My kids were playing around together earlier today, and I just felt like taking a few pictures! I love having my three kids, it makes my life so much easier when they all play together!

Field Trip

The girls went on a preschool field trip to the dinosaur museum. We go there all of the time, and love it! The Mammoth in the picture was found in the nearby city of Huntington. It is the largest most complete specimen ever found! are a few pictures:

I am thankful for:

I know it is cheezy, but lately I really have been thinking about how blessed I am. I am very grateful for many things! Here are a few:

Cecilia's dry underwear...because they are not always that way!
my husband's muscles!
the Internet, I find so many useful ideas on here!
Julia's sweet smile!
Cecilia's little smooches that I get many times a day!
Benson's kindness to everyone in our family!
those rare mornings when I get to sleep in!
a dishwasher that is running....
helping hands.
clean clothes, that are actually put away!
FAMILY!
not having a pet!
Walmart!
clearance prices!
back massages.....
good friends that make me laugh!
my hunny's job.
the smell of my kids clean hair, as opposed to their dirty hair...
my cozy bed, which I really would prefer to be in right now!
a good bear hug....butterfly kiss....and wet peck on the lips!
the freedom of self expression!
love!
vacuuming!
spicy food....the burn is very good!
warm sunshine first thing in the morning.
getting a job crossed off the to do list!
rock-a-byes...
a small hand to hold.

Here were a few things that I am thankful for, but there are so many other things! We are all so blessed!

Halloween is over...Yahoo!

This year Halloween was very busy! I was either in charge of, or helped with, four different parties/carnivals! Here are some pictures from some of the festivities (this is a really long post!):

The kids were about to go trick or treating in these pictures:

The kids had a lot of fun at the downtown carnival:

This was taken at Julia's gymnastics party.
We went to the school and watched Benson walk throuh the school. Every year they have a Halloween parade:
The girls with their playgroup. We had a trunk r treat one day, and then on another, there was a carnival:

Here are a few shots of the the library party:

These are some pictures that I took at Benson's school carnival. It was so funny, because in one of the rooms they had some cardboards coffins set up like musical chairs, and Cecilia sat down in front of one that said Snug as a bug in a rug....the funny thing was that she was dressed as a lady bug!

Carving Pumpkins

We were all very excited to carve pumpkins this Halloween! I looked online for templates, and let the kids pick out what they wanted to carve, and this is what we ended up with:

Julia wanted to carve Dorothy and Toto from the Wizard of Oz!
Benson and his mummy!
When I asked the kids what they wanted to carve, Cecilia knew right away that she wanted to carve a ghost!Julia is helping carve her pumpkin. She still has some leftover make up on from one of the Halloween parties that we went to. She decided that SHE is ready to wear make up on a regular basis now.....
