WARNING: THERE MAY BE HUGS AND TEARS

In December my youngest sister, Kim, came home from serving a mission to Japan!  It was such a wonderful moment in our lives!  We sure missed her.
It was so amazing to see my little sis after a year and a half!

My parents were to first to hug her!

Then the nieces and nephews ran over!

Then, she met her newest nephew for the first time!  Cooper was like, "What is going on here!"

She thought Leonard had gotten so much bigger!

Liz was so emotional!

Most of the grandkids!

All of them!

BRRRR!  It was cold at temple square!

We had to borrow gloves and hats.....I did not bring any!

Love this guy!  :)  (Not the Santa guy in the background....Benson.)

Benson loves hanging out with Leonard.

I loved the facial expressions!

Look at Cecilia's fingers!

I think Janie did not realize she was getting bunny ears!

We are so glad to have Kim back from Japan!  We love her!

Directing

I was lucky enough to be able to co-direct a Christmas program with one of my friends for Julia's class!  It was a blast.  I would love to do it again sometime!
I
We had a song here the kids performed some dancing and sign language.

Here is the sign language part of the song.

Again some more sign language.

Here the kids are performing a poem about a "Chubby Snowman"

We had the kids make Santa hats for the song "Up on the Housetop"

Museum+Santa=Happy Smiles!

We usually try to go to the Dinosaur Museums Christmas activity.  They always have Santa there!

"Yes, Santa!  I have been very good this year!"  All I want is something Dora for Christmas!"

"I really want some chapter books!   Pretty please!"

"I want some chapter books too! Thanks!"

It was fun seeing kids from our neighborhood there too!

Dancing/Santa

The girls second performance of the year was in the middle of January at a Christmas craft fair.
Julia is on the back row, and Cecilia is on the second row on the far right side.

It is has been so fun watching them have fun together as sisters over this year!

They would not look at the camera....so this was as good of a picture as I could get!

After the performance the kids went to a local flower shop and had visited with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!

She is even looking at the camera in this picture!

What a fun day!
